User data deletion
Last updated: February 2026
You can delete your TripDrop data in two ways: by deleting your account in the app (which removes all app data we hold), or by asking us to remove data you gave us on the website (e.g. contact form or waitlist).
Delete your app account (and all app data)
When you delete your account from the TripDrop app, we permanently delete:
- Your user profile (email, display name, preferred currency, plan)
- All your flight alerts
- All price history linked to your alerts
- Your push notification token
- Your Firebase Authentication account
How to do it:
- Open the TripDrop app and sign in.
- Go to Settings (or your profile).
- Tap Delete account (or similar).
- Confirm. Your account and the data listed above will be removed from our systems.
This process is irreversible. You can create a new account later if you wish, but previous alerts and history will not be restored.
Subscriptions: Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a subscription (e.g. premium). Cancel the subscription in your device’s app store (Google Play) or subscription settings so you are not charged again.
Remove website data (contact form or waitlist)
If you submitted the contact form on tripdrop.app or joined the iOS waitlist, we store your email (and for contact, your name and message). To have this data removed:
- Email us at hello@tripdrop.app from the same email you used.
- Tell us what you want removed (e.g. “remove my contact form submission” or “remove my email from the iOS waitlist”).
- We will process your request and confirm once the data is deleted.
Other requests
